After a year of planning and a great deal of work it is official!

The GarterBelts & Gasoline Nostalgia Festival will be held on beautiful Tamborine Mountain in 2013 on the Labour Day Long Weekend ( Friday the 3rd of May to Monday the 6th of May 2013)

This fun festival started out as a one day show and quickly grew to a weekend, it is the organisers intention to grow the festival to a full four day weekend and to be a must do on the Nostalgia Car & Music calender.

What Is GB&G? The festival is a celebration of the Cars, Music, Fashion, Art & Lifestyle born of the 1940s & 1950s.

The weekend will involve Vintage Movies at the Tamborine Mountain Zamia Theater, Live Rockabilly, Alt Country, Blues and Roots Music at two mountain venues on Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights, there will be a four day Art Exhibition which in the past has attracted American Artists Max Grundy and James Owens.

The weekend will also feature the Hot Rod & Custom Carnivale, this will be held at the Mount Tamborine show grounds on the Sunday and will feature a Rod & Custom show,Vintage Markets, Live Bands all day, Food Vendors, Art Exhibition, a High Tea & Antique Shop tour.

Mount Tamborine is an exceptionally beautiful and pristine part of the world filled with antique shops, restaurants, wonderful places to stay, wineries, breweries and lush pretty scenery.
